Welcome to the Great Divide Orchid Society in Helena, Montana!
The April meeting will be April 3rd (2017) at 5:30 p.m. in the large meeting room at the Lewis and Clark Library. On the April agenda is a "Great Divide" repotting clinic for members. The Great Divide is an event where members bring in plants to be repotted, or divided. Bring in your plants that have outgrown their pots and get advice on how to divide them, or if you have never repotted a plant, learn how to decide on the right size pot to use and replace the medium. Potting medium will be provided by GDOS for the event. Bring in any pots you may want to use. If you do not have any spare pots, there will be some for you to use. If you do not have plants to repot, this is a great time to watch and learn. Be prepared to go home with a new orchid or more!
All are welcome, so come join us!
|Who We Are|
The Great Divide Orchid Society is a group of orchid lovers and commited orchid growers in Helena, Montana. Our group began meeting informally in the 1980's and became an American Orchid Society (AOS) affiliate in 1991. We love to share our passion for orchids, exchange tips and ideas--and sometimes plants. We have a fabulous orchid show each fall that features member's plants as well as those from throughout the region.
